Being technologically savvy is what it will take to be known as a leader and to ensure credit unions thrive, and stay secure. Meeting with credit union professionals responsible for the technology and security of the organization gives participants an opportunity to gather information from peers who are facing challenges of their own while gaining insight from everyone’s experiences. Meetings also feature industry experts who share their insights and review current trends and identify successful and innovative best practices.

Our next council meeting will follow the same open conversation style as most of our past council meetings. We will be splitting the group up after our general topics into two separate conversation paths geared separately to those with large infrastructures and to those with less complex infrastructures. This is a real opportunity to really get down to the nitty gritty of the challenges that present themselves in an environment like yours.
Credit unions both large and small will benefit from discussions about new regulations, emerging technology, regulators, mobile technologies, etc.
But when it comes to planning and solutions, Credit Union IT isn’t a one-size-fits-all arena. So when we break into small discussion groups the topics might be the same but the conversations are bound to be vastly different. One group will be tackling the issues from the big budget viewpoint, and the other group will be tackling the issues with much more modest budgets.
In the end, the big takeaway will be the thoughts ideas and opinions of other credit union IT professionals like you.
Please Note: You must specify whether you are registering for a 2012 Council membership, or a single meeting. Full membership entitles you to additional resources, such as a directory of respective Council members, subscription to the Association’s e-newsletter and unlimited access to respective Council Listserv. Registering for a single meeting will subtract $100 from the membership price, for a meeting cost of $49.
This program is open to member and affiliate credit union employees only.
